I have always been a reader, but recently started writing after an inspiring trip to Scotland last summer.
For the trip, I started researching Scottish faerie lore (as you do), and began to ask myself, “What if the faeries aren’t folklore? What if they’re real, and we just can’t find them?”
If you’ve ever been to Scotland, you understand my question. The country is steeped in ancient mystery and magic. It is surreal. And if there are faeries, they are definitely in Scotland.
In my debut novel, The Elflaine Chronicles, Ailia must go find her older sister Elideh after she has disappeared into the faerie realm. If you’re a fan of Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas, Kingdom of the Wicked by Kerri Maniscalco, A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness, or Emily Wilde’s Encyclopaedia of Faeries by Heather Fawcett, you will likely enjoy this book.
I am in the process of querying, but hope to get this book in the hands of readers soon! Please subscribe if you want receive updates, follow my writing journey, and occasionally get insight into the writing and publishing world.
Thank you for joining me on this journey!
